Sarah Villarreal, Ph.D.

Sarah Villarreal, Ph.D., based in San Diego, California, has over 20 years of grant writing experience with demonstrated successes across a wide range of competitive funding opportunities including federal, state, and foundation/corporation. Sarah’s grant writing successes have also supported a wide range of sectors/fields including healthcare, behavioral health, community development, technology, innovation, and education. She has successful experience writing HRSA, SAMHSA, CDC, NIH, NSF and Department of Education grants. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two boys and two dogs, cooking (not baking) and watching Food Network cooking battles.
