Morgan Holland, based in Western Massachusetts, is a grant professional with over ten years of experience in the nonprofit and government sectors. Her work began as the founding Executive Director of a downtown arts nonprofit and grew to include grant writing roles in municipal government, higher education, and mental health. She has raised over $15M since 2019 from both foundation and federal sources, including HUD and SAMHSA. Morgan has subject matter expertise in mental and behavioral health, human services, health care access and equity, LGBTQIA+/gender-affirming care, at-risk/justice-involved youth, arts and culture, and wellness. She’s had extreme success leveraging this experience to utilize an intersectional and community-based approach to illuminate the power and potential of local programs and reach historically underserved populations. Morgan’s experience also includes over 10 years of post-award grants management and compliance for private nonprofits, ranging from small foundation grants to complex HUD/CDBG administration, including Davis-Bacon compliance and sub-grantee oversight. In her free time, Morgan loves riding her bike both as a daily commuter and out on long gravel adventures away from cars on the weekends.

“After working in a variety of sectors, I deeply understand that no issue stands alone, just as no person is affected by their individual decisions. I find sincere joy in connecting new ideas, serving new audiences, and appealing to new funders by thinking in new ways to create equitable, measurable, direct impact.”
