Mark Lane, MFA
Mark Lane, MFA, based in Missoula, Montana, has over 10 years of federal grant writing experience and has an extensive track record of success, having been the lead author on awarded proposals totaling more than $15 million. He has a broad range of grants experience, including behavioral health, health care, justice systems, child welfare, Tribal communities and systems, and education. He has written successful proposals to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), the National Institute of Justice (NIJ), the Office of Victims of Crime (OVC), and the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. In addition to grants development experience, Mark’s eight years in leadership at a fully grant-funded center positions him to consult on a wide range of grants management topics. In his free time, Mark enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and family time.
