Kari Rasmussen,

Kari Rasmussen, based in Provo, Utah, is a seasoned grant development professional with 18 years of experience in STEM education, STEM workforce development, healthcare (including rural health and FQHC’s), PK-12 Education, and Outdoor/Environmental Education. Kari has successfully developed grant applications at the foundation, corporate, and federal levels – including agencies such as the DOE, NSF, and NIH. She also has significant experience in empowering Indigenous programs through strategic grant funding, enabling Tribal communities to implement critical programming and services. With a strong foundation in strategic planning, detailed budgeting, and project management, Kari ensures that every proposal meets funder guidelines and program requirements. Known for translating complex ideas into clear, impactful narratives, she collaborates effectively with multidisciplinary teams to drive successful funding outcomes for research, education, and community development initiatives. Kari grew up in the desert southwest of Arizona and Utah and loves being close to her 11 nieces and nephews as well as outdoor activities, cooking, and listening to podcasts and audio books.
