Jennifer Smith Ramey, Ph.D., LPC
Jennifer Smith Ramey, Ph.D., LPC, based in Lynchburg, Virginia, has three decades of experience working in public behavioral health with a background in counseling, clinical supervision, and program management. Her grant writing experience converges with her research interests in cross-sector collaboration, treatment courts, and implementation of evidence-based practices in community settings. She is an experienced Principal Investigator (PI), having worked on multiple federal grants, and is experienced in grant program evaluation using quantitative and qualitative approaches. She has successfully written multiple SAMHSA, HRSA, and DOJ grants. Jennifer holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Liberty University and has been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for 25 years. In her free time, she enjoys playing competitive and recreational tennis year-round and spending time at the beautiful trails and parks in Central Virginia.
